The town and district

Glossop is a small town with a population of about 32,000 in the High Peak region of Derbyshire, circled by the Peak District National Park. Manchester is easily accessible by road and regular train services from Glossop; Sheffield is about 45 minutes' drive across the Snake Pass (A57) and motorway links are a short distance away.

You can find out more about Glossop on Wikipedia and on the High Peak Borough Council site.
