Whitfield Parish Churches, Glossop

Welcome to Whitfield Parish, in the heart of the town of Glossop, in the Diocese of Derby. We are a group of people, of all ages, and many different backgrounds, learning to follow Jesus in all areas of their lives whether at work or school , in the home, or out and about in our town. As we do this we seek to share Jesus’ love and hope in our town and beyond.

People come from all over Glossop to worship at both our Sunday morning celebration bases at St James and St Lukes . We also meet in smaller groups in the week as we encourage one another to Love God , Love One Another and Love the Lost. These groups are in the process of transitioning to communities of people committed to sharing God’s love with a specific geographical area or people group in our town as we look to fulfil our growing vision ‘To reach and transform our town with the love of Jesus’.

We invite you to join us in the adventure of following Jesus whatever your background, beliefs or experience of God. Come along or get in touch to learn more about God’s love, our community and the part you can play.
